Online Grocery Shopping

We just got our delivery from Alberson's online and it rocks...they bring the groceries in a refrigerated truck and I love not having to tote 3 kids to the grocery store and with gas prices, traffic, etc.it's worth the $9.95 delivery charge.

Anyone with kids knows the pain in the ass of trying to take them to the grocery store.

With their online shopping, we let the kids pick out a few items (this beats the tantrums in the cereal isle and the "I want everything" bullshit).

Has anyone else tried this? I love it. It also cuts down on impulse buying (which often adds an extra $30-40 on each trip to the grocery store. It's also easier for meal planning, etc.

:thumbsup

I'd definitely do something like this if it was available in my area. I truly hate going to the grocery store.

You are like rats in their maze as soon as you go through those doors.

I used Peapod a couple of times when I lived closer to the real world. I saved money because I only bought what I wanted, but I missed the "fun" of shopping :thumbsup
