Cybernet Hotel rates?
 

Anyone sign up for the Jr. Suite? The Cybernet site says they're $185, yet with a recent Call to the hotel they want to charge $215. So either the site is wrong or the hotel is trying to take advantage of me because I'm a woman.

Any experience? Should I sue for sexual discrimination?

Did you make sure to let them know that you were booking for Cybernet? It is a special rate, there normal rate is $215 and up.

you may have to quote cybernet or the code name cybernet is under to get the special group rate

I think Sharpie mentioned the prices were going up, but maybe she hasn't updated the prices on the site yet.

This was posted on the site about 10 days ago in VERY BIG LETTERS

"*** AS OF 5/11/04 -- All of the rooms in our block have now been reserved. The hotel has raised the rates and they will continue to get higher. Keep in mind we are still getting a discount! All rooms and prices are subject to availability... BOOK NOW!! ***

I also warned people by posting on all the boards & in the press release. As of 5/11 our $135 rate went to $165.

Feel lucky - open rate is over $200 for the same room. If you can get a Jr suite for $215 that covers Friday night - that is a DEAL.

I called yesturday - just to see what I would be told: I was told that the Cybernet rate was $165 for Wed & Thurs but there were no more rooms for Friday. I asked waht the open rate was for Friday outside the block & was told $269. There are very few rooms left in the hotel for Friday night.

I have posted all over the place that the online signup ends Tuesday - after that time the only admission is 'at the door & the rate will be higher! Please pay attention, I don't want to hear about people missing it on June 1......

My room has been booked for WELL over a month. As have my admission passes.

I have my ass plenty covered but would like to know why the hotel is trying to charge me $30 more than what the website states.

If you will send me email on Monday - I will check into it....but

my guess is that it is Ocean View? (which as stated on the website is $30 extra a night....that is for all rooms.

If you find that is the case - ask if they can put you in another JR suite without the ocean view...... (of course they may now not have many left - so check on that right away)

we got a condo on the beach for the weekend... anyone wanna party lol

That could be the case, never thought of that. I'm really not too concerned, just confused as to where the problem was coming from.
