why do stores ask for e-mails nowadays!
 

It pisses me off, like I don't get enough spam as it is. I don't want to tell fucking radio shack my name, initial, e-mail etc just because I want to buy some cd-roms. I've noticed clothing stores started doing this too.

By law they can't force you to give them any information, at least here in Canada. They of course don't let you know that; they want your information.

well i used to give them bs until one day one of them emailed me tracking info and i fucking never got it. Now i just give them my spam account

I figure if I'm SHOPPING there, if I give them my email address they may actually email me with offers that I LIKE and are TARGETED.
