    why do stores ask for e-mails nowadays!

    It pisses me off, like I don't get enough spam as it is. I don't want to tell fucking radio shack my name, initial, e-mail etc just because I want to buy some cd-roms. I've noticed clothing stores started doing this too.

    Everyone looking to spam these days!

              By law they can't force you to give them any information, at least here in Canada. They of course don't let you know that; they want your information.
