Have you ever watched a horror movie so gross you had to turn it off?
I couldn't handle Hannibal. Once the brain eating started I thought I was going to projectile vomit and had to turn it off.:helpme
|
quit being such a little girly and turn that shit back on!:1orglaugh

winnie the pooh

:1orglaugh hannibal scared me a bit
|
There is an older one that is pretty gross... called "The Gates of Hell"
Best scene is where the guy and his girl are sitting in their car when this priest walks by... (been a while so I may have this backwards) but the girls eyes start to bleed and she grabs her boyfriend by the back of the head and pulls part of his skull off. Great movie if you like gore :thumbsup |

glad to see you are OK after the bite yesterday...:)

Back in the 70's and early 80's we used to see some rough stuff at the local drive in.
I remember this one movie where these thugs had raped and murdered these two teen girls on their way to a rock concert..anyway as fate would have it they broke down near one of the girls house so the parents invited them to stay the night. When they found overheard what had happened to their daughter they plotted revenge...the funniest scene in it is where the mom talks one of the guys into taking a walk out into the woods where she is going to give him head. As she's blowing him she bites his dick off and all you're seeing is their shadows...and she spits out this chunck of meat...LOL But anyway there was some stuff in there that was fairly rough. |
When I watched Passion of the Christ I had to stare at the floor several times...I usually don't get grossed out too easily when it comes to movies, but that one had quite an affect on me...
|
I had to turn off Titanic. That was a fucking gross movie.
|
What was nasty about passion of the christ?
I found it to be a terribly boring movie |

Just the close-ups of how badly he was beaten...it really got to me. I'm sure it was the whole religious factor mixed with the gore. Sure, it may have been a boring movie, I never said it wasn't, I was saying that personally, I found it gross. |
Also, Faces of Death was disgusting...saw it at a drive-in theatre.

Nope, I don't think I've ever done that. I'm pretty much imune to gore/ horror. :)
|
Yeap,several times:(
|
horror is mostly all i watch, that and south park.
blood and toons, thats all i want to see. if you couldnt watch Hannibal, which is not even a horror movie, you must cringe at REAL HORROR. Hannibal isnt even good horror. The elevator death in Resident Evil must make you look away big time! |

Horror movie? No. Documentary. Yes.

If you mean horror as in the hollywood crap like Hannibal, i can recommend some movies that will stop you from sleeping. Shall i recommend some good Italian Cannibalism flicks? I have BOOKS on EATING FLESH and the HISTORY of CANNIBALISM! |

That movie was pretty gross but I've never stopped a movie because of that. I always seem to watch the entire movie.

Eaten Alive is still on my "to-order" list :) |
Old horror movies from the 70s rule :glugglug
Much much better than the "horror" movies that came out in the last few years. |
The only one that came close wasn't really a "horror movie" per se, but "Irreversible" with the violent rape and the revenge of the victim's husband bashing in the rapist's face with a fire extinguisher.
It was a very brutal and realistic scene and the camera didn't pull away as the rapist's face was smashed like a pumpkin falling off a building. Some great movies in this thread: "Last House On The Left" was a good old time at the movies "Gates Of Hell" is my favorite Lucio Fulci movie, espceially the scene where the girl pukes her guts out (literally) "Ichi The KIller" was fantastic some other great gore flicks for the gore hound: Bad Taste Dead Alive aka Brain Dead the Guinnea Pig series (basically, simulated snuff from Japan) Dr. Butcher MD (great cannibal flick) Make Them Die...Slowly (very rare and hard to find, directing God Sam Raimi starred as a Manson-like cult leader) Story Of Ricky aka Rikki-O (ultragory chopsocky flick) Bay Of Blood (the movie that REALLY sparked the slasher genre) |
many times...:helpme

And you know Bay Of Blood is one of my faves as we have talked about it before. Its also called Twistch of The Dead nerve which is for the awesome scene where the cute blonde girl runs off into the sunlight field and dies and twitches. great movie, without it the whole campground massacre story line would have came about differently. Without bay Of Blood there would be no Friday the 13th! Mario Bava is one of the best, Fulci is a god. Lets not forget henry, that was a pretty good one to make the girls turn away! Ichi rules! |
nah, i usually have my hands over my eyes and my fingers in my ears

RIP Yeah, we've talked about Bay Of Blood/Twitch Of The Death Nerve a lot....hell, Friday the 13th Part2 even borrowed the double murder from BOB. "Henry" was another great flick and I admit that movie stuck with me for a few days...especiually the first murders in which we only see the aftermath and hear the audio of what happened. Not a movie for the Friday the 13th crowd, but a great "real" horror movie. Fulci is my favorite Italian director, but I also have a lot of love for Bava, Argento and Lenzi |
yeah it was that movie called. SPAWN. such a gross movie and I regret paying $8 to see it
