Hahaha! Sea Monkeys! I used to love buying those then not seeing anything but specs in the water. Biggest rip off in the world (next to the pet rocks). Silly Putty was always a better investment!

Well before the internet and videogames, all we had were Sea Monkeys to play with. Used to cost $1.99 and the fuckin things always died, but you just kept buying more... cause you were a bored kid waiting on PacMan to be invented.

My parents have some right now...not sea monkeys, but brine shrimp which is what sea monkeys were..fish had babies and can't eat fish food yet but only brine shrimp

But do they play volleyball and party and live in a sea castle like the real sea monkeys did?

Haha of course not...I never had sea monkeys as a kid...

But of course the brine shrimp didn't come in a fancy package or aquarium thingy either..must have been cheaper too

Virtual sea monkeys are fine, espescially for those who haven't got time to feed them or clean their tans.

I loved those things. I think my sea monkeys lasted about a week but I would just buy another set. :)

I was a weird child, i used to wait for them to hatch, then eat them all. Dont ask me why, cause I really dont know why I would eat sea monkeys

I'm 20 and sea monkeys are still around.

I had some of those.. I was disappointed they didnt look at all like they said they would on the ad!
