Update on Angeleyes and the Snake...

Hey everyone..... those that wished her well thanks for the concern... for the idiots in the thread...... suck my fucking ass

She came in and was freaking out....... I took a few pics for the hospital to see and for insurance reasons...(Im new to the states and I thought it be best to be safe the sorry)

It took me a few seconds to post a thread here.... hoping I would have some info about this considering Im new to Florida, and posted while Jenn was getting ready to go to the hospital (you know women)

Two minutes after I posted we were out the door and on the way to the hospital.

At the hospital they asked her what happened but the bushes were pretty thick and she didn't know for sure it was a snake. She reached in to grab some flowers and something got her. But from the exam that they did, they confirmed that it was some kinda snake bite but quote "non-venomous" or did not get a full bite considering the wounds and gave her shit for infection and such.

She is back home here now and sleeping and Im ready for bed myself... gotta take care of my angel

From the bottom of our hearts....thanks again for all the kind words, was a trying time for us both.

jesus what shitty luck - i spent 5 years as a landscaper here in FL and must have had 1000 snakes crawl over my feet - never once bitten

I did get stung by a wasp my first day in Brasil - i was freaking out thinking it was some kind of tropical death bee :1orglaugh

tip for the future - when you see a fresh bite like that - suck the hell out of it and spit it out - call 911 while hauling ass to the hospital, and take pics later.

I've only lived here for 4 years, but in the main thread, other GFYers were more informed than myself. Apparently Florida has a huge variety of snakes. The one thing it took me a while to get use to is the little lizards running around everywhere, they get into the house all the time. I use to freak out, now I just chill with them. :1orglaugh They entertain my cat.

I'm going to put snakes in my wife's flower beds. Maybe that will get her to stop spending all my money on stupid plants that die every winter and then have to be repurchased the next year.
