You got on the 'Index' of dangerous sites for minors.
You do not have a proper AVS (to prevent minors entering your site) in place. Do not visit Germany anytime soon with your original passport. (personal advise) For more info hit me up on ICQ. Sorry man,German laws suck. Steve |
Damn so the germans are trying to nail webmasters outside their country?
|
Well it's 3:55am on a saturday atm in Germany so I doubt any german beside me is going to answer.
Bundesprüfstelle für Jugendgefährdende Medien = Agency to protect minors from viewing baaad stuff :winkwink: They are going to ban your site :1orglaugh They write that you have to send them a statement within one week after you got the letter if you got any objections against this. They write how baaad your site is and why they are going to ban it (showing hardcore ouside member areas/avs systems is illegal in germany). Could you please write them a letter and tell them to fuck off and not wasting tax payers money. You are living in the US and they can't do shit, they've gone crazy lately. Also tell them that they should write fucking english if they write letters to foreign webmasters who ain't in any way under their juristriction. Hope that helped you. |

PLEASE do that |
It reminds me of when you cut an asian lady off and she yells obcentities at you in Chinese or Japanese. I personally would not give a fuck what they have to say in Germany, since I do not live there and have no plans to go.

The Nazis are back.

I could complain about the letter to them, but also do you think this matter is resolvable so that the owner could freely travel to germany or would he be locked up for 50 years |

i really would like to see those us webmasters (you, sleazy and all the others who got mail) sending them some feedback about what stupid assholes they are and that they should concentrate on their own shit and not waste tax payers money like that.... |

that is a very good idea. tell them that they should write to the bpjm telling them what fucking pieces of dumb shit they are and that they are the reason they dont get free porn anymore. that should give the bpjm some nice letters from annoyed porn surfers hehe... |

Reason 1: You recognize that you have German traffic. You aren't under German law. Contacting the German Police tells the U.S. Government that you know you are violating German law. Reason 2: The Age verification process in Germany is impossible (requires faxed I.D., etc.) |

I especially like the description of your site :winkwink:
Short descriptions of the Website: The Portalsite of the english language website www.t69.com contains altogether 70 small format changing pictures which link to external picture galleries with sexual content. The illustration shows sexual actions between same pairs and same sex pairs, for example oral stimulation of men and woman, the insertion of objects like dildos, vegetables and bottles into the vagina of naked woman or the practice of sexual intercourse. Beyond that there are links at the top and at the bottom to portal similiar sites with similira content. The pictures aren't pixeled or censored in any way. The access is free. Man I should write him a letter and offer him to make descriptions for my sites :thumbsup |

If you would have checked with your Lawyer, you would know better. Everybody accessing borders (under control) and airports is ran through person-checks. If there are charges against you they will give you shit, they will take you to the next police-station and put the finger of law on you. Jon know what to do,I'll help with the knowledge we got on this issue. Thanx, Steve btw. we do not need to argue - it is shitty and worse, but it is a law. |

Believe me,they wouldnt send thousands of Letters out 7 Euro each with proof of deliverance (Einschreiben mit Rückschein) if they were not sure of that they can press through what they write. Get the latest info. Thanx, Steve |

The point is the site is accessable from Germany without AVS. Since the 'owner' (whois) is not from EU the law of the visiting country (in this case Germany) applies. Think a minute. If they had no point,no law and no reason would they send out thousands of 'proof of deliverance' letters that are not cheap? There is something coming, and it's worse. Germany is going way too far and makes an ass out of themselves. Sad but true. Steve |
Well the internet is free for everybody,I doubt they would get right in court. :2 cents:

I don't really know how far checks at airports go,but if you didn't commit any serious crimes I doubt that you will get any problems. |

Like I said,check with your lawyer - we did. :2 cents: |
I won't come back to Germany when I leave the country that's for sure. :winkwink:
A logic thinking judge who knows what the internet is would say that he didn't do anything illegal in germany neither did he target his sites to german visitors to violate the youth protection laws. :2 cents: |

I can't do a search, because my value for this forum is to low.
If somebody over 5000 post can make a search for wasteland and his letter it could be helpful. At the end of the thread a german lawyer made a comment. |

This is the best advice you should follow. :2 cents: |
Geez, we can't help you with that, dude.:(

Hey,
did any of the germans that posted here actually read the letter? This is the first step in a process to get t69.com on the Index... Its not final yet. (Of course he will get on it eventually, but he is not yet). This letter the owner of the domain to comment on the charges if they want to. The letter should come with an english information leaflet, read that, it should have all the info. Regarding the "do not travel to germany" stuff: 1) Yes, as soon as you are on the German Index, and do not abide by their rules, meaning put AVS infront of hardcore sites for german surfers, you can be convicted in germany. Once THAT happends, or once they actually CHARGE you of a crime, THEN you will be in the general database of people that they want to get into custody, so arriving at a german airport would be bad at that point. 2) I am not sure if these things go to interpol or europol, meaning that other EU airports would find you too when you get into the country. That I very much doubt though. So, if you still want to come to germany, just fly in to friggin belgium or the netherlands and drive there, whats the big deal? I bet the reason they are trying to get most sites onto the Index is to get a more complete database ready for ISP-level filtering. |
germany sucks :2 cents:

German laws are so funny. Time to redirect all germans to dialers like hell and just show them a naked tit or so :glugglug

If I got a letter in German, I would compose a reply made up of *words* with random letters, and send it to them.
