Can anyone read german? Got some letters that are really really weird and I cant make sense of them at all... any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

They write that you have to send them a statement within one week after you got the letter if you got any
objections against this.

They write how baaad your site is and why they are going to ban it (showing hardcore ouside member areas/avs systems is illegal in germany).

Could you please write them a letter and tell them to fuck off and not wasting tax payers money.You are living in the US and they can't do shit,they've gone crazy lately.Also tell them that they should write fucking english if they write letters to foreign webmasters who ain't in any way under their juristriction.

Thanks.. I actually have family that live in germany so would need to visit, however these lettesr were not addressed to me, but the owner of the domain (lucky i guess). The owner is Texan so is unlikely to visit germany lol but if he wanted to. would would they do? :helpme lol

I could complain about the letter to them, but also do you think this matter is resolvable so that the owner could freely travel to germany or would he be locked up for 50 years

Mate they can't do shit,they don't have lists of foreign webmasters at the airport where they check if you've done anything wrong.His site isn't even written in german,there is no law that forbids to do what is legal in your country if it's target to your country.They are fucking pieces of shit and retards too,also they are wasting my tax money (ok,you got me I don't pay taxes :1orglaugh ).

The Portalsite of the english language website www.t69.com contains altogether 70 small format changing pictures which link to external picture galleries with sexual content.

The illustration shows sexual actions between same pairs and same sex pairs,for example oral stimulation of men and woman,the insertion of objects like dildos,vegetables and bottles into the vagina of naked woman or the practice of sexual intercourse.

Beyond that there are links at the top and at the bottom to portal similiar sites with similira content.The pictures aren't pixeled or censored in any way.

The access is free.

The age verfication is still simple,there aren't any new laws yet.You just have to input or ID number and that's enough at the moment.

You might want to re-read the latest turns of the situation.

Believe me,they wouldnt send thousands of Letters out 7 Euro each with proof of deliverance (Einschreiben mit Rückschein) if they were not sure of that they can press through what they write.

Get the latest info.

Yes but that's no crime.He could even state that he didn't understood the letter anyway.How should they prove that his site is target to german surfers in anyway or that he even knows the german laws or that a single german surfer ever visited his site beside the bjps guy?.

I got one of those like 3 years ago for one of my domains.

The point is the site is accessable from Germany without AVS.

Since the 'owner' (whois) is not from EU the law of the visiting country (in this case Germany) applies.

Think a minute. If they had no point,no law and no reason would they send out thousands of 'proof of deliverance' letters that are not cheap?

There is something coming,and it's worse.

A logic thinking judge who knows what the internet is would say that he didn't do anything illegal in germany neither did he target his sites to german visitors to violate the youth protection laws. :2 cents:

did any of the germans that posted here actually read the letter?

This is the first step in a process to get t69.com on the Index... Its not final yet. (Of course he will get on it eventually, but he is not yet). This letter the owner of the domain to comment on the charges if they want to. The letter should come with an english information leaflet, read that, it should have all the info.

Regarding the "do not travel to germany" stuff:

1) Yes, as soon as you are on the German Index, and do not abide by their rules, meaning put AVS infront of hardcore sites for german surfers, you can be convicted in germany. Once THAT happends, or once they actually CHARGE you of a crime, THEN you will be in the general database of people that they want to get into custody, so arriving at a german airport would be bad at that point.

2) I am not sure if these things go to interpol or europol, meaning that other EU airports would find you too when you get into the country. That I very much doubt though. So, if you still want to come to germany, just fly in to friggin belgium or the netherlands and drive there, whats the big deal?

I bet the reason they are trying to get most sites onto the Index is to get a more complete database ready for ISP-level filtering.
