Does anybody else get disgusted by the sight of lobster?

Sometimes they look like giant cockroaches.

Don't get me wrong I love to eat them, I just hate looking at them.

Kind of like fucking an ugly chick with a great body.

Now those Spider Crabs on the other hand. Those things are nasty. Those long spider legs...

I don't look at a lobster and think...mmmm...yummy.

i eat crabs all the time and alaskan king crabs are the most annoying, waste of crab ever. i prefer dungeonous. more meat. easier to bust into. and like the taste a little better. the king crabs are annoying because the shells are kinda soft and the meat isnt as plenty as the dungies. theres a place near my house that has both and im there at least once a week. dungies rule. hardshell blueclaws (think thats how non-philly people refer to them) are also awesome. small, but fun to snack on.

Lobster is in my top 5 of favourite food. Too bad its frigging expensive over here.

Last time in Canada we ate 6 lobsters with the 3 of us. I paid and it cost me as much as 2 lobsters here.

Not me. I love Lobster....Crab....Escargot....all the nasty shit.

I don't mind seeing them alive, or dead. I just hate seeing them alive swimming around in a tank at a restaurant, waiting to die. Yuck.

They belong to the Arthropod classification. Basically, just glorified underwater cockroaches.

The only difference between them and cockroaches is they are larger due to the fact that underwater living allows them to have larger exoskeletons.

Another thing they share with cockroaches... they eat shit, detritus, you name it.

I bet if roaches were the same size as lobsters, people would eat them as well.:2 cents:

I personally love lobster. My step-sister is grossed out by them though, and last year made the huge mistake of sitting acrossed from me at my birthday dinner. Every crack and rip made her sick, and the flying lobster bits didn't help either.
