Question For TGP Owners?
 

I posted the other day about adding "pre-cut thumbs" to NaughtyBank for my hosted galleries. Based on the feedback from that thread I've decided to go with 88x88, 90Wx120H, & 110Wx150H. Please let me know if there are any other sizes I should seriously consider adding.

So, now to my question for today. Would there be any problems putting those thumbs in the hotlink protected directory I use for my hosted galleries? From what I've seen it looks like all the TPG's host the thumbs themselves so I'm thinking there shouldn't be any issues if I place them in a hotlink protected folder. Let me know what you think.

Not that I run a Thumbs tgp or anything. But if I did I would not be hosting the thumbs due to potential legal issues. :2 cents:

You can host thumbnail sized pictures of anyone without legal reprocussions.

im trying to buy the patent for thumbs...

I think te most thumb tgp makes there own thumbs.The script does

Sounds good Allie. I know I host all my own thumbs.. I dont trust other people's hosting not to go down, and I hate broken images on my pages. :)

That does not cover title 18 issues, nor the legally binding contract a webmaster enters into when licensing content with a provider.

So what's the word guys? Do pretty much all of you host the thumbs yourselves and if so do you foresee any problems with me putting the images in hotlink protected directory?

Also, any other sizes I should include besides 88x88, 90Wx120H, & 110Wx150H?
