This isn't a new theory about the war in iraq, the neoconservative / neo-wilsonian movement was initially comprised of jewish intellectuals. Joe Klein's op-ed in time magazine two weeks ago said essentially the same thing.

It is getting new coverage, because the war has caused dissention among isolationist conservatives who are now free to attack the neo-cons publically.

I'm rather surprised to see an elected official come out and say what everyone has been thinking for the past 3 years though.

I wonder how long it will take him to be branded an anti-semite to obsure the points he is raising.
