I don't know *where* you got that picture from, but you ain't even close. :1orglaugh Gulf Coast beaches are lily white with the prettiest, softest sand you'll find anywhere. We don't do that brown sand shit, here. ;-} I think something's happened to your penis, too.

That ain't Gulf Shores. No rocks or little bitty narrow strips of brown stuff down here. I was gonna photoshop him in one of these, but I'm too lazy. I was even gonna put a penis on him.

Where on the beach did you stay? All the beaches on the panhandle and Gulf side pretty much look like that. If you're staying in a beach house away from the condos and businesses, then of course there will be more sea oats and dunes. Sometimes there will be a red tide, or a big storm will wash in seaweed and there will be a big line of that crap all the way up the beach. Jellyfish wash in sometimes, too. It does seem like it always happens at the worst time or whenever you have something planned, lol.

I agree with Holly. My mom has lived in Gulf Shores, Alabama for many years. Those pictures are exactly what the beaches look like.

I'll be there Memorial Day Weekend... if you're still there then let me know and I'll hook you up with a HUGE family party. Boats... beer, but not at the same time!

Nice pic. Do you live near the Park? I was trying to find a picture I thought I had scanned. I caught a *huge* redfish off that pier a couple of years ago.

that pic i posted is the beach that i go to, about 10miles from my apartment, in Ft Walton Beach.......I'm not sure which park you are talking about

I was actually supposed to be in Destin (also very beautiful) on MD weekend. I work with some cheerleaders and some of them have been asked to perform in this little rinky dink thing that Saturday, so now I'm in limbo. I didn't think anyone would want to since it's a holiday weekend, but I guess I was wrong. :(

Okay, sorry. There's a big pier just like that in Gulf Shores and I thought you were saying the pic was taken there.

I've also spent a lot of time in Ft Walton. I had two roommates in college and one was from Ft Walton and the other was from Niceville. The guy I dated lived in Panama City, so we were back and forth all the time. Usually to go to Cash's. :1orglaugh

Actually, it was me who was supposed to be there. Two of my friends from Sarasota are coming up and one of them has a relative with a condo there. My roommate who lived in Niceville is living in Georgia now, so she was going to come down, too. My girls are performing somewhere else, so now I have to try and talk them out of it. :1orglaugh It's nothing important, anyway.

I haven't been to Cash's in a long, long time. I know he had some trouble with the state (I think), but at one time that place was packed all the time. When he would have those $10,000 wet tshirt contests, you couldn't even get in.

hehe small world yea i use to live there. I liked gulf shores beaches but the water kinda sucks. The closer you get to mobile the worse the water looks. Meet my wife in gulf shores 10 years ago the rest is history :winkwink:
