Plasma TV's
Anyone got some info regarding Plasma TV's. I'm looking for a reliable company with good prices.
Thanks. |
After so man hours of watching, you have to replace the bulbs or whatever. This also applies to LCDs.
|
LG and Samsung making good one's. Samsung build the biggest Plasma Screen ever.
|
I heard LCDs are supposed to be better then Plasma.. I wouldn't know personally. I watch like 5 hrs of tv a week, so its low on my list of priorities. :1orglaugh

Yeah, LCDs have a better picture and last longer but are more expensive per screen inch. The big issue with plasma right now is life expectancy.

gateways!

plasma's look cool but in the long run your better off buying a big hdtv widescreen, the price wont be too far apart

Consider Plasma or DLP
i am looking into DLPs right now. this one in particular http://www.samsung.com/Products/TV/P...TV_HLM617W.htm circiut city has it at a decent price. but check this site out (table in the middle is very helpful) http://www.digiupdate.com/100_Selecting_HD_Display.html |
I have a Pioneer 50" Plasma and it's crystal clear (720P and 1125i) with 3x3 pull-down. Great TV....when they wear out they are not "fixable" btw. I also recommend a 5 year ext warranty.
|
Sony and pionneer are the only 2 tv compagnies I trust

This and a decent size bare wall, and you'll never want for another TV. After watching a screen measured in hundreds of inches, you just can't go back.

Got a Hitachi 42PMA400E and must say i am impressed! Probably best value for the money. Either that one or a B&O, but the latter costs way too much for the extras.
