Since that style is so popular we have a wide selection of it everywhere in NY. From what I've seen Puma, D'iadora, and especially Adidas all have tons of styles from casual to sporty. I dunno if you see all the styles in Montreal stores though. There's a fewI'm forgetting too.

Don't like 'em. You might be able to pull off the whole British invasion thing, but it's really a whole outfit. You'd be better off with a pair that works with everything.

I like the first two, they are definately trendy. The Diesel pair, I can see them being comfy, and I can also see that they would be considered stylish (especially in Europe), but I can't see them actually looking good unless your pants are covering most of them. Sorry....
