CSI has announced that they will be closing all adult processing account effective June 27th. This affects anyone processing through FDMS as well, seeing FDMS is the sole owner of CSI since last year.

Those rates are a good way to farm start-up fees.

And what are we supposed to see here? There's no rate structure and I don't see any specific mention of high risk industries... |
Curious, we had a merchant account with Humboldt back a while ago and it was closed for no reason, no phone call, no letter, nothing. This was about a month after we paid the $1000 Mastercard high risk merchant fee. I was told at that time by my rep that Humboldt was no longer accepting adult accounts.
This was 2 years ago, maybe they re-evaluated and decided to get back in the business. Just in case anyone is wondering, we had way less than 1% CB ratio but it was a rarely used account so that may be why, we were only using it for a few thousand dollars a month at the time. |
These are real rates people... I have signed a dozen accts at these rates in the last few weeks.... as opposed to screwing you on rates because you are adult... we just want good adult business and business people who want to remain in business...
Hopefully a few more people I have signed at these rate will post and confirm.... Steve Kimberling Still don't believe me - - I will fax you an application with these artes on them.... and YES you will be set-up w/ V/MC as a 5967 merchant. Just because everyone else screws you on rates doesn't mean I can't provie you 2.40%-4.00% |

We did fund a bunch of business for iPT who dropped their adult accounts at their diccression. Made it look like it was us when it wasn't. In any event - if you meet the criteria - we go do it now.. Additional FYI - I am the bank diorectly. I do not submit anything offshore or to more than one bank. My company is wholly owned by the underwriting bank. My underwriter is 50 feet from my desk. all legit.... |

What I want to know is how can a new company be expected to reach $100,000 a month in sales or have been processing for 2 years when they can't get a merchant account. Are companies effectively barring new companies?

By having the $100K and <1% CB parameters we are trying to position ourselves to be in the business for a long time. We do not want the "get rich quick and bail on your members" adult merchants that are out there. We want quality business people, running thier business in a strong business manner. I have a feeling that over time the $100K minimum may come down. For now it is what my bank is comfortable with.... Steve |
I just signed up with these guys two weeks ago. You have to be for real to get an account there, but once you're in - you're IN!

2)What's your turnaround on new accounts? - Thanks |
We only use our merchant account for tangibles (5k/month)
Anybody know what our options are? |
I was under the impression that CSI was only terminating the subscription side of the adult industry and keeping the tangibles.... I am searching for a processor that handles tangibles for a newbie friend too....
|
You have to be careful I looked into this awhile ago. Alot of the salesman were like we dont have to tell the bank they find out then we will deal with it and I am like yeah right lol. I think if cc goes away checks will rule the day and scrubbing on them will get better.

Thank you for all your responses and emails folks.
I noticed a few Q's on tangibles... we can proceass for you tangibles also. We do keep the $100K a mont minimum on your current processing in place. There is only a $195 start-up fee and rates will typicall be at 2.40% (Qualified) and Visa does not automitically downgrade tangibles to Non Qualified so you can expect to get 2.40% on the majority of your transactions.
