and why is it exactly that this bothers you so much? don't we have more important things to worry about other then something as trivial as who says see sig and who doesn't?

Well then its their Loss. I have some nice nudie/boobie pics in my sig as well as many other people. IF they don't want to see them thats just fine with me :)

Not directed at you unless you have sigs disabled....but anyway it always cracks me up to see posters who fly banners in their sigs to make comments like.."I have sigs disabled." And then to talk about the benefits of having sigs turned off.

Sigs is a way to gain exposure, referrals or cash straight up if you are selling yours...so why would you want to suggest others to turn it off and cut off that source of exposure, referrals or cash?

Fuck the sig whores..shit I got over that a long time ago.

People know who they are, and it's not just people with ARS flying in their sig.

But I know from experience what some good sig views can pull.

Some of my biggest clients happened upon me by my sig to my portfolio.

On a good day when I had stealthisgallery.com flying in my sig I could generate well over 100 uniques by just posting a couple of threads on GFY.

It's a tool. Learn to work it...you'll learn to love it.

Yeah it seems pretty stupid if that many people have them disabled.

I have more important thing to worry about, sure...but i looked at your post count and it's similar to my, so i am sure you also did a few posts about such "unimportant" subjects :winkwink:

i have sigs enabled and i already had suggested to disable "sig disabling" on this board :winkwink:

but from some polls i remember 25-30% have them disabled, so assuming peopel know about this fact, they should not make "see sig" posts, sicne there is no chance someone with disabled sigs, will go to his profile, enable sigs and turn back to the thread to see what that guy has in his sig...
so simply by just replying "see sig" and not posting any url's, those ppl may be losing some business

If they are asking about programs or services then they should take that feature off while they are looking for that information.

that's a really good point.... it's for people to lazy to type a URL with their refer code.
