UK Parliment evacuated as Blair is hit by something thrown from public gallery

Just watched it live on tv. Someone from the public gallery threw something purple that hit him in the back during Prime Minister Questions. Talk about security problems...whatever it was it was powedery.

He doesn't seem to be hurt but heads are going to roll.

looking at the replays it looks like Gordon Brown got the biggest face full of the powder (get used to his name Americans...he is the next Prime Minister)

I just saw it on SkyNews, looked mad.

I think they should at least search people going into the public gallery.

apparently these guys were singed in by a member of the house of lords and therefore were allowed to sit in the area without the protective glass. The speaker of the house of commons has stopped that rule as of today.
