General TGP or niche specific?

What's better to start? I'd say niche specific is better, but then what kind of niche is best? Is it best to go with something big like teen, or hardcore, or something more specific?

Of course when you go for something more specific, it's more difficult to find a lot of hosted galleries...

your thoughts?
