Ok, i can be the first one who proves yuor theory - yes, i think i am smarter than the average person.... but i am also definitely more lazy than the verage person too :(

Yup, my theory is pretty obvious.
It just thought of a show i saw a while back about cars and drivers and they did a poll and it showed that 80% of all people think they drive better than the average person. Something is very wrong with this theory :)

You're not measuring what you think you are. The people who voted "below average" were smart enough to figure out what you were up to and are trying to prove you wrong. The people who are dumb have no idea what is up and voted "above average".

silly question to ask when we dont know how smart the fucker beside us really is. Some people can be genious level but can't function with day to day tasks or have any common sense.

Well you have to admit that it seems as though the average person has trouble just figuring out how to turn on a computer and get their e-mail, much less making a living with it. Since a good chunk of people on GFY are rather advanced computer users, one would tend to believe that it is possible that a majority of people on GFY COULD be smarter than the average person. Of course, reading some of the threads seems to eradicate that theory. :1orglaugh

Average is usually the most people in any situation.
Like the average gfy user would be most people who post here. But ofcourse the poll shows what i expected and no matter where i would poll people it would have the same result. On the streets, in a bar, in an office etc.

If we have to believe these polls, the stupidity of people, the ignorance with which they click, yes im smarter, then everybody is a smart fuck. Look according to this poll, we hardly have any average people on this board, were all smart asses...bullshit ofcourse.

90% on this board is average smart and 10% or less might be smarter than most people.
