Spam Assasin is the shiznit
Oh well its 3 A.M i woke up in pain, so i figured i'd check my mail. Sure enough spam assassin's keeping my 3,000 spams a day bitch slapped. I've got mine set at 8.0, so i still get those little text ones. Im afraid to go down any further & start missing real mail.
Whats yours set at? |
I love it, now the spammers have to use non-dynamic ip's (quit stealing cable lines) And make the helo domains match up with the ip ranges. Quit trying to be sneaky, keep your message short & to the point & it'll get through, hell i might even read it.
Spam detection software, running on the system "server.yournothackingme.com", has identified this incoming email as possible spam. The original message has been attached to this so you can view it (if it isn't spam) or block similar future email. If you have any questions, see the administrator of that system for details. I might be living in the 80's but this free program for linux / freebsd servers just saved me about 2 hours a day of sifting through bullshit e-mail.
