A consignment of deadly weapons - including this 50cm multi-bladed push knife - has been intercepted by Australian customs.

This weapon, which was heading for Melbourne, was spotted among a batch in air cargo that arrived from the United States.

After X-ray examination, the officers uncovered a sword stick, several trench knives, other push knives and a double edged dagger, all believed to have been purchased over the internet.

awesome knife.. looks like the kind of thing i would have liked to make after reading too many comics in highschool..

TheDoc 05-19-2004 12:10 AM

Did you know they are starting to fine people that bring weapons to airports?

An EMT had a knife her in bag, they took it, and when she got home she had a $250 ticket from homeland security waiting on her.

bhutocracy 05-19-2004 12:10 AM

I want one..
if there was a visible logo that would be the the best internet advertising that company could hope for.

KRL 05-19-2004 12:11 AM

I'd like to see the reaction that guy would get if he walked into a crowded shopping mall with that puppy.

:1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

newsdude 05-19-2004 12:15 AM

goBigtime 05-19-2004 12:24 AM

I remember in the late 80's / early 90's there were more than a few movies made around crazy knives like that & the villains that used them.

If there were ever a knife for that knife-weilding-villain movie formula - that'd be it.

It makes the police officer holding it look like a madman. :1orglaugh

BlueDesignStudios 05-19-2004 12:26 AM

you could do some serious damage with that knife

I wonder if u could cook faster with it as well.. :1orglaugh

You mean like in Cobra? I remember Cobra had some crazy knives in it. Same thing with a bunch of Charles Bronson movies.

80s villains always had a crazy knife...

Brat 05-19-2004 12:35 AM

the guy looks pretty happy to be holding that

he's like 'muhahah..COOOOOOOOOOOL!!'

pr0 05-19-2004 12:36 AM

They give you a warning first. She probably did it a few times. I've gotten the warning letter twice now. They said next time I'd get a fine. :321GFY

beemk 05-19-2004 12:47 AM

that thing is badass

raymor 05-19-2004 01:45 AM

I would post a reply, but I've no time -
I've got to go get the grinder and other
tools running and find the right steel,
as suddenly there's a metalworking project
I must start right away. LOL

webmaster x 05-19-2004 01:53 AM

Papichulo, double posts:1orglaugh . Don't worry, it happens. Anyways, you're right, that's one damn deadly weapon. I think that belongs to Wolverine.

dunefield 05-19-2004 06:07 PM

I bet it slices a tomato so paper thin you can read a newspaper through it. Even slices through a tin can!

Hue G. Pness 05-19-2004 06:11 PM

Knife looks like a good way to break your forearm or hyperextend your elbow if you actually tried to use it as a weapon.

Hard-fucking-core.

I prefer spaghetti spoons but a melon baller is a formidable opponent.

It just looked too cool to pass up. Look at the guy looks with that knife, I bet he kept it. I'd love to have 1 of those if it also had a sharp blade right in the center
