I bought a used Cherokee that didnt run about 6 years ago. My Monte Carlo blew up at around 130MPH a few weeks before, so I was driving a 1970 Datsun 210 that someone had welded a tow bar onto. I got a tow dolley from U-haul, and ramped the Jeep onto the dolley and towed it home behind the Datsun. The Datsun was about 3 feet narrower at least than the Jeep and 5 feet shorter. I am sure that was quite a site. The front wheels of the Jeep were almost at the top of the trunk of the Datsun. Whenever I braked the whole car would sway. It took a lot further to actually come to a stop, but I got it home. Drove slow and safe. I had to, the Datsun wouldnt go any faster.
I sold the Datsun for $200 and paid $800 for the jeep. The dealership couldnt make it run. I replaced the Starter selonoid, and wired it in right and it started and drove like a champ.
