I'm a hardcore Braves fan but always have to tip my cap to an outstanding performance like that. He was truly overpowering. It wasn't a fluke or the result of some fancy fielding by his team.

The last fastball he threw to strike out Eddie to end the game was a 98 miler per hour fastball.

He proved a game doesn't need 20 homers to be exciting.

As much as I'd like to think SOME of it was due to the Braves basically fielding their AAA team, he went after even the vetas who normally hit well against him.

FUCKIN A! Randy is the MAN! Fuck, I should have recorded the game, would have loved to see that! He's a MACHINE on the mound, and every batter that faces him quakes in their cleats when they step into the batter's box. He just *looks* evil, that's intimidating enough - then add a 103MPH fast ball on the inside corner of the plate and you've got one scared mofo with only a piece of hickory to defend themselves. :D

5 Cy Young awards - 4 in a row! Hopefully, this will spark some fire into the DiamondBacks and get them rolling on cue again. They certainly have been sucking lately.
