Welcome to Gmail
A Google approach to email. Gmail is an experiment in a new kind of webmail, built on the idea that you should never have to delete mail and you should always be able to find the message you want. The key features are: Search, don't sort. Use Google search to find the exact message you want, no matter when it was sent or received. Don't throw anything away. 1000 megabytes of free storage so you'll never need to delete another message. Keep it all in context. Each message is grouped with all its replies and displayed as a conversation. No pop-up ads. No untargeted banners. You see only relevant text ads and links to related web pages of interest. |
Gmail rocks, full of very useful features.

1000MB=1gb

Gmail Goes to 1TB! Apparently "kicking it up a notch", Gmail now indicates that users have a full terabyte of disk space! Mine says: > You are currently using 437 MB (0%) of your 1000000 MB. Is this a mistake or a genius leapfrogging of their competitors? (You've got to imagine that few, if any, users will go past 1GB making this mostly a marketing gimmick.) |

Not even google would have the capacity to provide terabytes to its users for a free service.
Besides, filling up a terabyte with emails would take a LOT of spam. |
dang, i'm still waiting to get my gmail account
:-( |
Yeah.. thats waaaay overkill for text messages like email.
I havent got an email about getting one of these accounts yet.
can somebody send me an invitation to beta test gmail?
this is more distrubing. http://www.google.com/search?q=Jew check out the top spot they bought to explain the search..talk about powerful 'jews'
1tb for email? :1orglaugh
I LIKE being able to delete my messages. Yahoo can't possibly keep all of the deleted junk from everybody's email boxes every day. When I hit that delete button, I know that it's gone.
sweet, a new place to store my software ;-)
