Anything fun in Sarasota, FL?
 

Gonna be there for the rest of this week. That's seriously going to hamper my posting ability... damn family and little kids will be around :P

Anyway, we'll be on Siesta Key. Anyone know a must-see restaurant/attraction?

Go to an alligator farm.
They have those all over Florida.
My parents took me to one on my first trip there.

I think we're going to be sleeping and lounging most of the time anyway, but I wanted to ask. I do get to meet this hot girlie who hangs around my site though :Graucho

Drive north 30 minutes to Tampa... Lots more to see and do there.

Since they closed North Lido beach back in the 80's (that was the nude beach) it's been rather boring there.

Lido key still has nude sunbathers they just go in the dunes. The fact no one is under 60 years of age sort of makes this less attractive.

Nice beaches. I was there for spring training this year. Cute little town! :thumbsup

THe Ringling Museum is nice.

I was born and raised in Sarasota. The beaches are beautiful. Go relax have some drinks and get some sun. There are nice bars and restaurants too. The boat life is great, if you have access to boats.

It's not a wild city so go there with intentions of chilling out. Which is nice to do in life sometimes!!

You can go to Long Boat Key, St. Armands circle, Siesta Key, and Ringling Museum.
