Saw a mosquito land on my keyboard, swatted and missed. A few seconds later my arm starts ictching...the little bitch got me. I hate mosquito season.

It sucks..watch out for West Nile

Blackflies are worse, the little fuckers. They swarm you. And they aren't nice like mosquitos..they actually take fucking chunks out of you and leave you pouring blood. I remember one of my kids went out in blackfly season without a bug jacket for ONE MINUTE, came in POURING blood down his face. It was sick. And those bites itch 1 million times more than mosquito bites. And they HURT. I can't wait to get away from them!!

I dont recall ever seeing a mosquito in Las Vegas.

Man am I ever glad we dont have that problem here.
We have mosquitoes, but they arent that bad. The weather changes so much here that its hard for them to live too long. Its not all that unusual for it to snow in July. Its usually only for a few hours tho. Just long enough to kill the little bastards.

I read that if you put citrus lotion on your body.. you will not get any bites.. they hate the smell... especially lemon ... there everywhere in the summer time here too... especially when ya live on the lake :(

Damn... glad we don't have such of a problem here.

Mosquitos think I'm an all-you-can-eat buffet. Taking copious B vitamins seemed to help. Moving to Arizona helped more.
