avi/mpeg/asf/wmv splitter v2.31 Boilsoft
Anyone here using avi/mpeg/asf/wmv splitter v2.31 from Boilsoft?
Great little program for chunking out clips but I was wondering if anyone knows how to get it to run in a batched mode to tackle an entire folder of video instead of doing one video at a time. Any Ideas? |
Not possible with the newest version. It's a great little program, but there are a couple of improvements they could make to make it rock even more.
edit - to clarify, no previous versions could do this either. To my knowledge, there are only a couple of options you can set in the app. |
I had 5000 movies to split in 7, no batch, had to do them 1 by 1 :waaaaahh
But it wasn't all that bad after all, went pretty fast actually :2 cents: |
Another option they need to add is the ability to remove "_chunk_" and add your own text in there or no text at all. Like just the file name + clip number (ex. movie1, movie2, movie3, etc).
|
Agree that the _chuck is annoying. I emailed the company and asked how much to have them write the code to offer a batch, and the ability to change/remove chunk a couple of time over the last few weeks but no reply.
|
Could someone write a script that could remove the _chunk from the file name and rename it automatically leaving the number at the end? seems like some smart person here should be able to do that.

Yeah a batch mode on it would be nice.
