Comus or AGP ?

I've got a few AGP licenses, so I can puchase more at the discount price. For a new site though I'm tempted to try Comus... on their page it says peoples traffic doubled.... ? Can anyone explain how your traffic would double from the software you use?

Also with AGP I havnt worked out a way for partner accounts submissions to be displayed instantly(without me logging in as admin and clicking 'Build All Pages') Does Comus update the second/hour someone submits?

Reason I ask you opinion is because the price of Comus is more than 6 x's the discount price I get AGP for...

Comus list your thumbs by popularity!

AGP SQL can list popularity..
I would suggest you set up and hourly cron to update your pages.

0 * * * * /usr/home/useraccount/domain.com/cgi-bin/agp/cron.cgi --rebuild

I will always choose a JMBsoft product over another because

1. there is an active support forum.
2. they take suggestions.
3. they release updates regularly.
4. updates for life

speaking of comus, I'm having trouble with my server install. Has anyone had DNS issues with this script? I can't scan 90% of the hosted galleries out there. For example if I scan a lightspeed gallery it takes over two hours to complete. This happens with just about every sponsor hosted gallery out there. Some are a bit faster some won't scan at all. Needless to say this makes updating a site impossible.

I was told by comus support it's a DNS issue which I think is strange as I still take submits and some galleries have no problems at all , then some do. Everything was working fine one day, then the next day everything is fucked up. I'm wondering if anyone has had this problem?
