Of course optimisong your sites for search engines and having them come in the top 10 for your keywords are two different things.
If its the adult game you are aiming for then unless you know some shortcuts its going to take some time. You need some good content on your site so get a couple of nice picture galleries and make sure they are straight html so you can optimise every picture page.
Put plenty of original text on your pages having a good smattering of keywords you are chasing in it.Use variations of the main keyword as well.
Use your meta content and meta keyword tags proprly.Don't spam too many keywords in them.Use the title of your page wisely.The titlle is very important and must include the most competitive keywords you are aiming for.
Now the next thing is the hard part.You have to get a lot of links to your site from other sites that are doing well in the search engines.Get them to use the keywords you are chasing as anchor text for those links.
When you have a site finished let me know and I will give you an appraisal on it.

I never paid for SEO..
I started to get into the SEO game recently and have a couple of nice top1 listings for a while now..
