Vegas was a great place to move however I think Its got to be one of the most inflated realestate markets in the US right now.

The last year its gotten ridiculous.
I hope you do not plan on buying a house :(

I live in Vegas!! I've lived here since August and it's been great so far, although I'm not looking forward to 110 degree weather. I love having a pool and hot tub too. The only thing that sucks is that smoking is allowed everywhere so I always end up smelling like an ashtray:(

I have been here since 97 and still haven't got used to that smoking everywhere crap.

Great to see Im going to be in good company! Ive only been to vegas twice, once for internext and once for Donnies signup4cash.com release party, both times kicked my ass lol. Im going to have to make sure that the night life dont affect my day job out there :).

Yep I live here, and before Vegas I was in LA. I actually know almost no one here cause I work from home and I never seem to meet anyone when I actually venture out of the house.

I live in Vegas, in the Summerlin area.

But like most webmasters, i work at home, I work alone, and i dont leave the house much unless its to attend my kid's hockey practice or a trip to the harware or computer stores. Sometimes my wife drags me out into the sunlight, I hate that though.

Some of the people I work with are trying to get a team together for inline. They play at some park right now but are talking about playing at an indoor facility.

The park they play at for free is at town center and 215.

The indoor place is on Rampart, Las Vegas Sports Park

Also for ice, the crystal palace

ice there is the Sante Fe they have leagues there, think that might be closed down though.

I'm still out in Henderson, but further than I used to be, now I'm way out near Lake Mead

crystal palace had ice and inline, but just closed the inline rink to convert it to another ice rink.

Santa Fe just closed on saturday, so no ice there

the Fiesta casino next to texas station is supposed to start building an ice rink this fall

As for other inline places, I really dont know. Still waiting on my left knee to heal before i try skates again, I put on some hockey skates about 6 weeks ago and got on the ice for ten minutes, my knee swelled to 2x its normal size, so its obviously not ready yet
