Lakers and Pacers, certainly a finals dream match up.

Wait until LA wrap the series with either Kings/Wolves. I don't think there's not enough tough opponents going into the finals berth in the Eastern team compared to the teams in the West.

I have never been on that boat myself. Never really understood it. I always admire succesfl teams, even if they are aggravating because they beat my team.

But it goes without saying, if you are number one at anything, you are going to have the haters.

BTW, the team will stay intact if they win it all. Kobe, Shaq, Phil, Malone, Payton...the whole deal.

It'll be Lakers-TWolves for the western conference finals. The Eastern Conference has no chance, but still, I'd like to see the Nets get there......btw im a raging Lakerholic

Most likely the only one who will be leaving is Phil. My guess is they bring in Bryon Scott, and change around the Offence to better fit a PG like Payton. Shaq is under contract for another year so he is not going anywhere, and the Lakers can pay Kobe more then any other team so there is really no reason for him to leave town either. He is 25 and the best player in the league if Mitch "Cupcake" lets him go, with out at least a sign and trade he will be run out of LA!

I dont hate the lakers, I hate Malone, he was an asshole back in Utah and he is still one now, I dont have anything else against them but Malone. I never want to see him get a ring and it is to late for a trade so I really dont want LA to win, I want the Pistons to win, being from Detroit!!!! I know that will get some people pissed-lol.

That is part of the game, but notice Malone always did it to guards and not to the centers, guess that makes him a pussy!!! He would go after the small guy, he was always a coward and the only reason I dont want the lakers to win is because Malone is a little girl in a big mans game!!!

I hate the Lakers. It doesn't mean I don't think they're good, I just can't stand them. I was born & raised in the L.A. area and was a Laker fan most of my life, but these obnoxious jerks do a disservice to the team name. Not that most of the other teams are any better. I want players who make 26 million dollars a year to shut their yaps and just play. I want players who cheat on their wives to shut up and just play - I don't want to see their whiny ass press conferences or hear about them buying their wives 4 million dollar rings because they screwed someone and got caught. I don't want to hear another player thank Jesus for winning a freakin' *game*. If Jesus doesn't care about babies being killed in wars, then dammit, he doesn't care if you win a basketball game...or a boxing match or a football game, for that matter.
