Could you imagine if we had a war?

I mean like a real war with people we care about. Not some arabs, but some country like germany or italy. Now with the internet and people in the states being in contact with europeans so much it'd be so weird. Someone you might be friends or business partners with online might become your enemy overnight. Be interesting to see if that ever happens.

Well no they're humans, but there aren't many people in those countries socializing and doing business on the internet. That's probably the reason why war with them is so easy. They live in a shithole and never come in contact with us. I don't think 2 civilised countries could ever go to war with each other again, unless the population of one was cut off from the rest of the world for years first.

Interesting thought - however higly unlikely. With organisations like the United Nations, and the EU (Euroepan Union) its practically impossible that something like that would happen. Its more likely that you would be fighting Asian partners in Korea when they start testing their nukes or something.

Still an interesting thougt - war in europe has become something only few people have seen with their own eyes.

There are examples of it happening though - i was with the UN in Bosnia and Jugoslavia so theoretically the US were fighting a european country then.

China and Korea is always a threat because of their Nuclear capabilities and its just a matter of time before they join the war in Iraq. With the latest advancement in technological warfare, it seems everyone is gearing up for something big.

nah.. thats when propaganda comes into effect. The government would start saying all the vile things the.. Italians for example are doing, and spin public opinion until you WANT to go over there and kick some ass.

You forget most people are intellectually lazy or stupid, and tend to believe what their government tells them.

Yeah no offence to anyone from Korea or China, but man! everyone is saying the US is the only superpower left in the world - but the shear manpower in the chinese army is HUGE!!

But still Korea is the most obvious threat
