Yay! I think everyone should have 20k signatures! Mind you I just checked psyko's and it's 40k. I'm sure pages would load a lot faster if signature filesizes had a maximum to them. It would force people to be a little more creative too.

i think one animated gif banner is banner is very reasonable. 40 KB is nothing. even yours at 170 KB takes 2 seconds to load and then remains cached.
