I did a 60 page paper on the Family for an english paper in College... the books are amazing.. a few others besides the lawyers book in large librarys...

also some first hand accounts from people who knew some of them helped too...

damn, i've never seen those pics in color before. and yeah i'll probably catch the movie. i read the book helter skelter along with several others about manson and 'the family'. charlie is a funny fucker.

My aunt hung out with some of the Manson Family members (long before the murders).

I wonder if Charlie Manson had made it as a musician, if he would have been seen as eccentric instead of fucking insane? (Courteny Love anyone?)

I heard something very disturbing about the sharon tate murders that has stuck with me ever since. As one of the victims was being stabbed multiple times he pleaded to the girl stabbing him, "Stop, im dead already".

That is scary as hell. he realized his life was ending, his heart was slowing, but he still managed to utter those words to his attacker, fucking creepy.

I watched the show last night. I've seen old news footage and more current interviews of him on the news shows like 20/20. The person that played him was a trip, with his movements and what not, the person that played Manson was pretty amazing.
