If You Were Given $10,000 a month to Advertise Your Company...
What would you do? T.V.? Magazines? Internet Advertising? How would you spend your $10k a month budget?
I guess that would depend a little on what your company did, dont you agree?
depends on who your target market is.
Tv is generally for reaching mass markets. Magazines are better as they have a profile of who their average reader is and thus is better for you to target certain segments. |

Prime time porn ads on Fox Kids :thumbsup
I'm thinking more of the line of targeted internet marketing. Web banners and SEO using targeted keywords. I would probably run adwords at minimal cost and use the excess money for advertisments on sites geared towards my target market.
T.V. is a little to broad of a reach when you're targeting a niche market. Magazines work great but can get rather costly in order to hit your complete target market. A full page ad in Maxim costs around $175,000. |
And the smoking thing is going great. :thumbsup
Maxim is neither porn or niche :winkwink:
10k is not even enough to buy a page for 1 day in the local news paper
Didnt I reply to you sometime?
Depending on the industry, I have this PR guy that will guarantee a feature story in the WSJ, Time, Newsweek etc, and I would have a good chunk of $$$ left over.
I'd go for the most extravagant, most extreme marketing i could find.
Probably a prime time TV ad or something, with a top notch production crew. |
$10k/month is not enough to do things like TV and Magazines effectively.
You should stick to targeted internet methods. |
