Money Bookers - What's your experience?
 

I just signed up for an account at moneybookers.com, as an alternative to paypal.

I've read on another board that people are having a hard time getting their checks (they prefer to send checks rather than depositing funds into your account).

Anybody have experience with them?

I have account with money bookers for over 1 year, never had problem with them :)
I also never had problem with depositing funds into my bank account :)

moneybookers simply rocks! I have an account for like 16 months, they kick ass...
I think they have the smallest fees too...

Yup, moneybookers are great, I think more sponsors shopuld pay by them. :thumbsup

For all the sponsors out there:

I have a moneybookers account and have not had any problems getting my cash out. Or using it to purchase stuff

yup, no problems here either. BUT they are having some real problems with their customer support. Tons of complaints in the world of betting...

I've been a member for 2 years now and IMO they are rock-solid. Never had problems of any kind, phone support is good too (never heard of any complaints either).

Made some large transactions with them and the beauty is they never charge more than ?0.50 for sending money (IMO better than getting charged for receiving money)

uploading/withdrawing funds is easy coz they have local bank accounts in a lot of countries... wires are showing up within 24 hours.

Very solid alternative to PayPal, too bad it isn't as widely used as PayPal but then again nothing is at the moment.

They are alright.. be better if they had some kind of debit card though. :2 cents:

Kind of a bitch to get your money OUT, and as of yet.. not many places take em.

I just made my first transfer into my bank account with them. All went well, but it took 9 days to get there!

Never had any problems in the last 2 years,also they're located in europe which means no bank or banking kind of service company can fuck around with you like paypal.
