My new turntables and my view on the water! (pics)
Picked these up 2 days ago.
Pretty cheap starters set but very decent for a dj rookie like me! http://www.teenportals.com/tables.jpg And pic number 2 just makes me friggin happy. I took it 2 mins ago. Its amazing how i live in the center of a big city and still its so quiet and peaceful. http://www.teenportals.com/terrace.jpg |
starters? seeing 2 technics 1200 .. $$$
thats a profi starter set :) but you should get a better mixer.. is it a stanton? |

This set cost me like 450 euros. Including the table and stuff the total was 500 euros. (600 dollars) |

but if they are, they're definetly not starter decks. tech 1200s are the best dj turntables money can buy. my girlfriend has a nice pair (no pun intended ;) with a sweet mixer. whatcha spinning, battus? |
Stanton yes, more than enough for me now :)

what brand are the tables? and 500 euros for the decks, mixer, table and headphones? pretty sweet deal! |
Quote:
Oakenfold, Sasha, Prodigy, Junior Jack and some other stuff. Fucking records are so expensive. I ordered like 20 records which cost me 200 euros including shipping. |
Nice view and nice toy!
|
Cool gadget! nice place!:thumbsup

Tables are also Stanton. A pro probably finds them shitty. For me its perfect, i wouldnt even know how an expensive Technics feels. If in a year i still enjoy it i will pick up the Technics and buy pro stuff. |

prodigy kicks ass. they're my favorite group. my girlfriend might be selling a shit load of records soon. when she bought her technics, she got 120 records with them too. and she later bought a lot of like 75 more records. they'd be house, techno, trance, drum n bass and some hardcore/gabber. if you're interested, i could hook you up with a list. they'd probably be about $5 USD each. |

If you ever make a list of the trance and progressive records, let me know. |

Most of the big DJ's are moving to the CD mixers from what Ive noticed.
http://panasonic.com/consumer_electr...odindex_dt.jpg I spun a party with one last year. It was a lower model than the one above but it felt just like wax the way it cued and scratched even! |
Very nice pics of the house Battuss. Property on the water is always a nice thing.
If you are just starting I would suggest using the CD turnables. Do this before you spend all your money on wax, and you will try, believe me! I started DJ'ing 16 years ago so you guys can't start talking all that 'wax is the only way to go' bullshit. I put thousands and thousands into my wax collection. When you get your collection up to the pro dj size you get tired of lugging those things around. Having just about every track you wanna spin at your fingertips is an amazing feeling. Here's a link for the one above http://panasonic.com/consumer_electr...lt_digital.asp |
maybe you're a starter but with expensive equipment...

Here are some pictures I took 3 weeks ago. It's your neighborhood?
