Kitty and I both went to the same high school she did (Taroona High School). We live pretty close to there right now. There wasn't much fuss made over it down here. I watched the telecast while I was working. Good luck to them! :thumbsup

I hear there have just been some demonstrations over the wedding, people throwing paint and apparently some explosives were found!

I thought all Danes loved the Royal Family?

We do 250K out of a population of 5 mil. watched them drive 4 kilometers thru town in a open carriage standing only 2 meters from the carriage not many places in the world you can do that.

The incident with the paint you mentioned were probably about 20 very left wing youth wanting attention. The other was a guy being arrested with a smoke bomb and some military style fire crackers in a bag. None of the royals were close to any of those incidents but since it occured on the route they would drive by car to the evening party the bride and grom were delayed 40 minuted for security reasons.

No big deal.

I've been watching the whole thing online and it has just been so beautiful...I don't think he could have made a better choice :)

Just a correction it was 400 demonstrators throwing paint on the police and 20 of them arrested :)
