Merchant Account VS. Cascading

What option do you believe is most beneficial when dealing with affiliates? CCBill has been so up and down lately and I'm looking for a different solution.

Would you Recommend a merchant account, or cascading billing? Also, if you choose cascading, is there an alternative to MPA2?

As an affiliate, does a program with internal stats turn you off? I know a lot love 3rd party processors, but is it that uncomfortable using a different approach?

Cascade your merchant account(s). Send them through the merchant account first, if denied, either send them to another merchant account (if you have one), a 3rd party biller or a alternative, such as online check billing or 900# telephone billing.

We are coming up with a cascading system soon.

We only have 1 merchant account, but cascading to 3rd parties isn't a bad idea at all. :thumbsup
