keyword keyword "free" keyword
 

when your going after SE words/phrases do you target phrases with the word free in them? i have been passing them up and not optimizing for them BUT i am missing out on a lot of potential traffic. how does everyone feel about surfers who type in "free" when they are searching for something?

From the PPC side of SE's, I don't want them. Well, I would want them but not at 5c or more like most engines have minimums on. On the free SE's it never hurts to have too much traffic, even freeloaders.

Traffic is traffic. Just don't pay for 'free' keyworded traffic.

Of course the surfer wants it free.. its your job to turn that freebie seeker into a sale. :thumbsup
