Probably none of them. With no infrastructure and constant war, getting food to most of them isn't exactly easy. Plus, I don't think they appreciate the effort much anyway.

There are already organizations in Africa helping children. If they are able to do this why not fund them more?

Those nations are constantly paying interest for the loans that you call "handouts". US loves to loan money to 3rd world countries. They love it so much they install leaders that promise to borrow the most amount of money for their country.

Granted it's not a master piece of cinematographic art, but it depicts really well the problem with helping starving people in the third world.
It's not really the money or the food and supplies to help them that is missing, but rather the logistic to bring it there and the hinderance from local governments and warlords who each want a cut that is often so big that nothing is left for the truely needy people...:2 cents:
