American Double Standard?

Case #1

Event: 5 hooded man behead an american result...

Public Reaction: Iraquis are savage animals that need to be carpet bombed into stoneage.

Case #2

Event: Dozens of Soldiers abuse/kill Iraquis in prison...

Public Reaction: Very few bad apples that don't represent America need to be punished.

So let me get this strait, according to Pentagon and White House, only a few thugs and terrorist are fighting the Americans, yet everyone is now ready to carpet bond all iraquis into the stoneage?

What happened to the people we went to liberate over there ?

you left out so many important details its not even worth discussing. the whole topic isnt even that big of a deal.

One guy got his head cut off. EXACTLY. ONE GUY. How many people in the US were murdered this week? How many of them are all over the world news?

The people we went to liberate all died during the early part of the war! The rest are beheading people

Finally somebody that see's my point of view also. I was agruing that with my roommates this morning!

I'm one to say that what we did was worse than the beheading, because we did all that shit in their own country and the things we did were more humiliating than the beheading of a american!

Ah them! They had bunches of flowers thrown over them as they entered Baghdad and diplomatic relations have been restored and the US now has a nice oil contract with the new democratically- elected government of Iraq.

All the troops are back home now with their families and many are still communicating with the Iraqi friends they made while they were there.

The Iraqi people are so indebted to the US for "liberating" them and given them this new type of "US democracy".

Life is simple and we can all stay in that "Disneyland bubble", eh?? :winkwink:
