Is $50 for a banner design contest too little?
 

I don't have a big budget and I would like to get a 468x60 banner to my site (gif animated or static), but I'm affraid to pay a designer and end up with one that I don't like.

So I was thinking of starting a contest here at GFY, and give all of the great designers out there a change to create a banner for me! ;)

Is $50 for this contest too little or will some of you guys (designers) enter this contest?

You'd probably get a few entries at least. :)

there's people that would do one for $10, but you get what you pay for..

its cheap but you will get some entries.

I think people will laugh at your cash prize because people here typically tend to be self richeous assholes. you should see if you can find a designer for hire for $50 bucks...

any designer worth the pot they piss in, would make it right until you're satisfied

The problem is that I don't really know what I want, so I'd like to see some variety....

where do you find these ppl at? after they get paid they dont usually stick around

Lol... The contest will start saturday.... It will go on for 10 days and I'll bump the thread twice for the first couple of days, and once a day for the rest of the days so everyone will have plenty of time...
