just got back from seeing it - two major thumbs up :thumbsup :thumbsup

If you like stuff like Memnto then check it out for sure. Seeing it in the same week that I saw Van Helsing...lets just say this was the better of the two ;)

I haven't seen it yet, but read a copy of the script over at script-o-rama.com and it's interesting as hell. I still plan on seeing it

Will be interesting to see if they skip over Jim Carey again for awards but this was ceratinly one of his more intellegent projects.

I don't understand why people dont go see this movie... It is amazing and gets perfect reviews from everywhere..

Scooby Doo 2 sold the first weekend twice as much as this movie did in 3 weeks! This is why hollywood keeps making bad movies, because people tend to go see them a lot more!

*sigh* because most people don't like using their brain when they go to the cinema. It hit me hard on a few levels, for sure.

i thought it was really good

One of the few love stories I've ever seen that explored overused,
wornout themes in a completely fresh way.
I actually didn't completely "get" the ending till later at night
when I was falling asleep and I even kept thinking about these themes for several days later.

Not too many movies do that for me anymore..

even the end credits screwed with my head..love that they took the time to think about that kind of thing.

Agreed. His scripts are more than just stories...they are pieces of art. Adaptation is truly genius.

adaptation is such a movie for hahahahahars..i could see the script on the screen as I watched..fantastic.
