gimme a list here of all people in and around NY that would be interested in getting together sometime in soon this summer.

maybe for a barbecue at the beach or something, or like an afternoon down in long beach at the bars.

i just want an excuse to get together a bunch of people and drink on the beach.

Count me in! Late summer though, I wil be on the road for the next couple of months. I'd like to do this though, I've never even seen the beaches here except for the concert hall at Jones Beach but that doesn't count cause there's no sand.

years ago i did a road trip to rockford, illinois...that took me around 16 hours driving at a good pace........i think we went through ohio somewhere around 8-9 hours. but i dont remember too well

Nyc here! don't know how I missed this thread. Theres a beach called short beach on the south shore near Island park its accessable by both boat and car. they have bbq's there or you can supply your own. This sounds like a great Idea.

It sure seems like they allow alcohol , I was there last summer and damn near everyone was drinking. Most people take their boats there, they have good dockage.
