What do you think of Velvet Revolver?
 

The radio station I listen to during the day for background noise has been playing quite a bit of Velvet Revolver lately. It's pretty good and I'm really starting to get into it. I think it's different enough from both STP and G&R so that you don't sit there saying "eh... this sounds like STPs second album", which I was afraid of.

Take Audioslave, just pop them on and it's pretty clear you're looking at Cornell and the RATM boys, which is a huge reason I never got into them.

Anyone else into Velvet?

I got an advanced copy of the CD two months or so ago. I'm not sure if it's the finished product, but it sure kicks ass.

Slash said in FHM this month that they'll probably put out 3 albums by the time Axl puts out Chinese Democracy. That could acutally happen, though he said it in jest.

I like it! Although, I do miss my Axl ;)
