Tire Blowout... why?
 

Tire blew out earlier... on a newer car (2 years old) low miles.

Tires were just rotated today.

The blowout was on the inside of the tire... its like a 1 foot long rip.


Anyone into cars know why it could have happened?

Your cars tires could have been in a warehouse for years before being put on your car.. Making them almost expired.. Seperation of rubber it sounds like.. Almost like the whole firestone fiasco..

I would talk to whoever did your tire rotation to see wtf is up.. they might be liable..

was this the first time you rotated the tires in 2 years ?

Nah.. the car has a perfect service record.
