and i know cops that haven't even drawn their weapon once in over 15 years and more........




these fucks are way too overpaid to give out speeding tix all the time here, while an average nyc cop makes 30k less, and has to face violence on a regular basis

They make like 60 000$ canadian here I think and there's almost no places to study in the program. And here in 2004 almost all of those working in police don't have a good shape and are eating shit all day not a good job..

In some areas cops get paid that or less sometimes.

In 84-85 cops were being paid about 40-45K a year. Im sure its gone up over the past 19 years, In Southern California

And I shit you not, this is what they were saying, and I was amazed...

Doctors are earning US$9 a MONTH

Engineers are earning US$7 a MONTH

Teachers are earning US$5 a MONTH

and the good old Five-Oh get a grand $4 a MONTH.

Oh, and that's IF they actually get paid !!!

Since the Russians cut them off, the ONLY money they make is from the US, who support them because they joined the war on terrorism.

on Long Island, NY,,the AVERAGE cop salary is 105k,,,plus overtime,,is well over 150k for only 3 -12 shifts per week.

that comes out to $1,000 per shift or $85 per hour.

and the cops are getting a 20% raise retro active 2 years ago.

Oh, and they make very little or no money under the table. I've never heard anyone bribing a police officer in finland. Also some recent study shows that Finland is one of the least corrupted countries in the world. However, almost nobody in finland carries a gun and 90% of the people do as officers tell them. Very very few officers are killed on duty here.

I still wouldn't want to be one.

If you go by the recent scandles, cops on the Toronto force make an extra couple 100,000 on the side....
