Fuck that, it was her decision... she got HIV, that's her problem. She took a risk that im sure she was well aware of before she got into this biz (and if she wasn't then shes just dumb as a brick).

Exactly. This girl needs to STFU. I know she essentially has been given a death sentence, and she also doesn't seem to be the brightest bulb, but my empathy towards her and her situation is quickly fading. She obviously had a lot of issues before ever coming to LA or meeting Darren James, but the fact that she's using an HIV infection to get some face time, is just stupid. She's giving interviews to anyone and everyone willing to talk to her and seems to think she's some kind of celebrity now.

I have no idea if this was posted already and I'm too lazy to search right now, but the LA Times did an article about her and Darren James last week, that is worth a read. Along with the picture of her with a Teddy Bear, this was my favorite part:

"The sun has come out after days of rain, and Roxx is animated. She's talking to surprised passersby, introducing herself by her stage name. They clearly don't recognize her, so Roxx explains that she is the HIV-positive porn actress whose picture was on CNN and in the newspaper. All the media attention is "helping me accept my situation," she says."

Unfortunately, laying blame at this point is moot. Nothing anyone can argue about is going to make the fact that the girl has HIV go away. However, she's doing her best to put a rather unsavory face on things, and it's pretty much 99.9% sure that any publicity she brings to this is only going to make things harder for our business. Hopefully she will realize this and perhaps turn her efforts to more productive pursuits. I guarantee she could still find a lot to do with herself if she tried :)
