epiccash stops paying 0.75$/mail
EpicMAIL Payout Change
Due to strict Hotmail, Yahoo, and MSN restrictions we will no longer be able to pay $0.75 per email. The new payout for our EpicMAIL program has now been reduced to $0.50 per qualified email signup. We will continue to give credits for Hotmail, Yahoo, and MSN even though we can not mail those domain. - Epic Cash :( maybe time to signup for AAC? They pay up to 5$/mail. signup here |

NOT a good idea to mail AOL cuz those mofos SUE! |
Sounds like a warning sign to me. I stopped using their webmaster programs about a month or so ago anyways.

Hmmm I would think you could attack them legally on that one. Their clients opt'd to receive your newsletters. That's nuts if they charge to whitelist responsible mailers - adult or not. |

This is what he ment. In reality, they dopnt pay you anything for your email addresses. They have setup affiliate accounts with places like Hogs Cash, Gamma Cash, CE and about a half dozen other email address places. They send email lists daily to them to be checked at a set time. If they dont have the email address already in the database they get a check from whichever email site it is. IE: they get 5,000 addresses, they send all 5k to all the email places they are signed up for, Gamma Cash doesnt have 2,000 of them, the other 3k they do, they are dumped, and Epic is paid for the 2k. CE has 4k of the emails, they are dumped, they pay for the 1k and so on and so forth. That is why they had to cut prices, they ended up losing more money then you can realize, and it happens all the time with email places. If you have ever Tried Hawgs cash emailer, I have. Sign up for one as a surfer, and within 2 days you will be getting no less then 30 emails from DIFFERENT emailers including Gamma CE and other big names. It's an old business model, it will die off one day. |

http://yro.slashdot.org/yro/04/05/05...id=126&tid=187 I guess they are actually doing it. Lol.. that's crazy. I didn't investigate those links much... but I wonder if you have to bring your own CAN-SPAM compliant list, or if MSN/Hotmail allows you to mail as many of their people as you can afford and be CAN-SPAM compliant by going in under their wing..... ie "If you use Hotmail, you agree to be spammed by us and our affiliates, if you don't like it.. then upgrade to a paid Hotmail account"..... something like that? |
MSN wants a $20,000 bond to be on the list.
|
Quit ICQing me to ask me how it works, no I wont sell you the script. :321GFY
