Mel Gibson will takeover DISNEY
 

Hollywood star Mel Gibson is being suggested as the new head of the troubled Disney empire as a consortium of European investors is sending feelers to him.

They are hoping that the 'Braveheart' star will take the helm of the troubled magic kingdom, especially after he made 'Passion of the Christ' for 34.3 million dollars and then grossed 794.3 million dollars with it.

"Gibson has the sensibilities Hollywood needs. He has the right insight to lead a studio. Look at those numbers. Now, that is how to make movies - none of this 164 million dollars nonsense," The Herald Sun quoted a source as saying.

The backers want Gibson to kick in a few hundred million of his own money and run Disney if the takeover succeeds. The superstar, however, has not made any comments so far.

come on - the best persons for the job to head disney are comedians and those who are a kid at heart

Jim Carey / Mike Meyers as two examples.

Walt was a kid at heart, always laughing and his organization was set up with the kid in mind. I dont see having a preachy, religious theme on every new film.

Why not James Cameron?? Hell Titanic was a hit too, and he had more hits than Mel in the long run.
